The Dunklin County Farm Bureau gives two $1,000 scholarships. Scholarships are awarded to students who exemplify community service, agriculture leadership, and great work ethic. Please see Mrs. McClendon if you are interested! Applications are due by April 14th 2023.
Seniors: Check your Google Classroom for information regarding the LaFemme Club Scholarship. Make sure you are checking your Google Classroom regularly for information about scholarship opportunities and end of the year events.
Prom Shirts are on sale now! Order forms are in the office and money and form can be turned back into the office by Friday, March 24th.
Meetings Day will be next Friday, March 24th. Sign up list is posted on the bulletin board.
Our High School Softball team will play their first games of the season tonight and this weekend in Jonesboro at the Bearcat Bash.
Our Junior High volleyball team will play tonight at Portageville at 5:00 p.m.
A+ Juniors: You will have a meeting next Friday, on Meetings day. If you aren't sure you are in A+, there's a list on the bulletin board and also by Mrs. Lemings room. There are 26 of you enrolled!
Seniors: Jostens will be here on Friday, March 24th at 8:00 a.m. to deliver cap and gowns and graduations products. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR BALENCE PAID BEFORE YOU CAN RECEIVE YOUR GRADUATION PRODUCTS. If you are unsure of your balance please come by the office. Also, Seniors your basket items for the last fundraiser is due today. Please turn it into Mrs. Rouse.
Spring Sports Pictures will be taken Thursday, March 23rd. We will be taking High School Spring Baseball, High School Softball, Junior High Volleyball, and Junior High Baseball. Order forms are on the brown table in front of the auditorium. They are dark blue.
Interested Sophomores will be going to KCTC to tour the campus next Wednesday, March 22nd. Students need to pick up a permission form from the office and turn it back into the office before you go on the trip.
Juniors please check your class Google Classroom.
Students who received "Advanced" on an EOC that they took last year will be dismissed Friday, March 24th and Tuesday, April 4th in recognition of their achievement. Students who received "Proficient" will be dismissed on Friday, March 24th in recognition of their achievement. A list of students is posted on the bulletin board outside the office, advanced students are in purple and proficient students are green.
Due to the amount of cardboard that is being stacked by the doors going out to the Ag Shop, we will no longer be using those bins for cardboard recycling. The bins will be distributed to different locations in our building and the elementary for PAPER only. If you have cardboard or boxes that need to be recycled, please break those down and take those directly to the recycle bin outside behind the Ag Shop.
7th Grade Girls STEM Career event this Tuesday, March 21st. Permissions forms can be turned into the office.
Any student that wishes to take duel enrollment classes next semester, you need to see Mrs. McClendon after the announcements to take the Accuplacer
Friendly Reminder: Musical Theatre will meet today after school will 4:45 p.m.

We would like to wish a very Happy Birthday to Ava Watson, Khloe Furlow, Makenzie McNabb, and Landon Smith! They all have birthdays over the weekend.
